Climb aboard your own private yacht charter for the fly fishing expedition of a lifetime! Designed for groups of 4 adventure-hungry fly fishers, all accommodated in private cabins, you’ll journey under sail from Mauritius to the remote and unspoiled St Brandon Atoll, home to some of the biggest bonefish on the planet, as well as the enigmatic Indo-Pacific permit and ‘Gangster of the Flats’, the giant trevally.
Get ready for a fly fishing experience like no other as you and your group embark on your own private yacht charter, expertly skippered and looked after by your personal onboard team for the fishing trip of a lifetime!
Our charter is designed for groups of 4 fishers, all accommodated in private rooms, who will be joined by a skipper/fly fishing guide, cook, and Farlows Travel group host to ensure the highest level of safety and comfort on your own private fishing adventure.
In the remote Indian Ocean, 270 miles northeast of Mauritius, lies St Brandon Atoll, comprising over 50 islands, flats and coral reefs – a fly fishing paradise teeming with some of the biggest bonefish in the world, as well as permit and giant trevally amongst a myriad of other species. With only 200 tourist permits allocated per year, this is your opportunity to set foot on a truly pristine and wild part of the world.
Your journey starts in Mauritius before a 24-hour overnight sail northeast to the atoll. Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to troll for big game species such as marlin, sailfish, mahi mahi and tuna, or simply sit back and enjoy your voyage across the ocean as you turn off the engine and let the power of the wind carry you to your destination.
Once you arrive at St Brandon Atoll, you’ve reached your paradise home for the next week. Accompanied by your guide and group host, you’ll explore the many rich flats of St Brandon, sight-casting to trophy bonefish and searching for GTs and bluefin trevally.
At the end of each day, you’ll climb back onboard your floating home to enjoy freshly caught lobster and cocktails as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean.
For those of you with an adventurous streak, this fishing trip is not to be missed!
