Hosted by Farlows’ Fishing Manager and renowned fly fishing guide and instructor, Nick Hart AAPGAI, and in association with Farlows Travel, our Mexican trip is designed to offer practical on-the-water instruction in a relaxed and fun social atmosphere.

Where are we going?
Located within the Sian Ka’an Reserve in the heart of Ascension Bay, Mexico, the Punta Allen Fishing Club offers exceptional flats fishing for permit, bonefish, snook and tarpon. It’s the perfect destination at which to learn the basics of tropical saltwater fly fishing, or to improve your skills, with a qualified instructor and experienced local guides on hand at all times.
Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced flats fisher looking to fish alongside an experienced instructor, our hosted trip is the perfect place to hone your skills. This trip is all about fishing – you won’t waste any time sitting around in a classroom, it’s all about getting out onto the water and catching some fish!
What’s the trip like?
Depart UK. On arrival, you will be met and make the short vehicle transfer to Punta Allen Fishing Club, arriving in time for dinner.
Tuition and fishing day on the flats close to the lodge with guides and instructor.
26th April to 30th April
Five full days’ fishing and tuition in Ascension Bay, two clients and two guides per boat.
Depart Punta Allen Fishing Club after breakfast at approx. 10.00am. Vehicle transfer back to Cancun for flight to UK.
How much does it cost?
From US$2500 per person, based on a shared twin room, shared boat, seven nights’ full board and accommodation and six days’ tuition and guided fishing. Single rooms are available for a small supplement.
Cost does not include: Transfers (approx. US$250 per person), tips (around US$300 to US$350 per person per week) and flights to Cancun.
