Punta Allen Fishing Club offers guided flats fishing for permit, bonefish, tarpon and snook with every chance of achieving a Caribbean Grand Slam.
You will fish the Ascension Bay area, which is one of the best places to catch permit, one of the most challenging flats species, and the guides use 25ft Panga skiffs, specifically outfitted for flats fishing with a wide casting area on a flat bow, as well as a polling platform at the stern to allow for fish spotting. You will have two guides per boat.
Punta Allen Fishing Club lies within the Sian Ka’an Reserve, in the heart of Ascension Bay – a 400 square mile paradise within the reserve itself. Here you have the chance of encountering permit, bonefish, tarpon, snook, jacks, barracuda, ladyfish and snapper all season long. Between May and July, other species such as dorado, sailfish, marlin and wahoo can also be found in the area.
