A stay at Ichingo Chobe River Lodge gives adventurous fly fishers the opportunity to access 100 kilometres of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers and the chance to hook into the ferocious tigerfish. You may also hook one of the many bream species, African pike, tilapia, catfish or upper Zambezi yellowfish as you explore the Chobe and Zambezi rivers, as well as the winding Kasai Channel and thrilling Chobe and Mambova rapids.
Fishing safaris are available here all year round, from the arrival of the annual floods starting in March to the feeding frenzies of the the winter months.
Because of its unique geographic location, Ichingo Chobe River Lodge also offers outstanding water-based game viewing and birdwatching, in addition to photo safaris and cultural tours.
The lodge itself features eight large air-conditioned Meru safari tents set on a secluded island beneath a riverine canopy on the banks of the Chobe River where guests can listen to the sounds of the rapids from their own private balcony before heading to the dining room or bar for something delicious to eat or drink.
